Celebrate Halloween with Scream Street! Carve one of your favourite characters into a pumpkin or even make your own monster using our downloadable templates!

Make your own Scream Street pumpkin

YOU WILL NEED

  • Pumpkin

  • Cutting tool

  • Permanent pen

  • Torch

  • Candle

STEPS

  1. Ask a grown up to help you hollow out the pumpkin!

  2. Print off the stencils from the downloadable template sheets, choose which one you want and cut out the stencil along the dotted line. Be careful when using sharp scissors, ask an adult for help.

  3. Position the stencil on your pumpkin.

  4. Use a permanent pen to trace along the black lines - these are what will be cut into.

  5. Ask a grown up to help you cut into the pen lines! Don't cut all the way through, just dig into the outer layers.

  6. Place a torch inside the pumpkin to work out when the lines start to "glow" from the inside.

  7. For the big areas, remove more of the pumpkin.

  8. Place the candle inside the pumpkin - ask a grown up to light it for you! Or even better, use a battery operated tealight that won't burn the inside of the pumpkin!

  9. Display your pumpkins to Halloween up your home!
