A beer based mojito, perfect for a sunny weekend celebration!

Ingredients

  • 4 mint leaves
  • 20ml/¾fl oz sugar syrup
  • 25ml/1fl oz lime juice
  • handful ice
  • 60ml/2fl oz rum
  • 100–150ml/3½–5fl oz pale ale
  • mint sprig, to garnish

Method

  1. In a highball glass muddle mint leaves with sugar syrup and lime juice crushing the mint as you go.

  2. Add ice to your glass and pour the rum over.

  3. Stir then top with pale ale and garnish with a sprig of mint.
