'Heavy smoke' warning due to waste fire

People in a Kent village have been warned about heavy smoke from a waste fire.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service advised residents and visitors in West Hougham, Dover, to keep doors and windows closed on Monday evening.

The blaze started at about 18:00 BST, the fire service said.

Six fire engines and a bulk water carrier attended the scene.
