A mural paying tribute to a Cheshire town's railway heritage has been unveiled.
Making Crewe, created by street artist Akse P19, was recently completed on the side of Crewe Town Council's building on Forge Street.
It was based on an image taken in 1913 of the Iron Bridge and Chester Line, which would have run through the same location 112 years ago.
The piece was unveiled as the latest work in an art trail commissioned by the town council, which was launched in February.
A spokesperson for the council said they were "delighted" to feature the work of Akse P19 on the trail alongside the other artists.
"The mural design developed by the artist in consultation with local people, including the Heritage Group, pays tribute to Crewe's heritage, while giving passers-by a window into the past," they added.
The other pieces included in the art trail are Re-Making Crewe by Cherie Grist, Stitching Together: Women of Crewe by Vanessa Marr and We Make Crewe by Carrie Reichardt.
