What has a bus ride done for a Moorlands hospital?
When there was a suggestion that the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) may be closed in Leek, Pamela Wood wanted to make a point. She decided to show Tracey Shewan, the Director of Communications and Corporate Governance at Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board (ICB), how long it takes to get from Leek to the Haywood Hospital on a bus. Stuart George spoke to Tracey following that journey to find out the future of the Minor Injuries Unit, after Pamela had come on the show to explain how they had fared on the road.
