England's Ben Proud beat compatriot Jacob Mills to claim the men's 50m freestyle title at the Aquatics GB Swimming Championships.
Mills, 17, had qualified fastest for the one-length sprint final in 21.96 seconds but Olympic silver medallist Proud raised his game to defend his title in London.
Proud won the final in 21.67, with Mills second in 21.99 and Alexander Painter third in 22.01.
"I'm really pleased with that," said Proud. "I got everything I wanted.
"Swimming under pressure and it's not often it comes from a 17-year-old."
Mills said racing Proud had been an "honour" but a "few things went wrong" for him and gave him "some things to work on".
Abbie Wood won the women's 200m individual medley title by beating Katie Shanahan.
Wood claimed victory in a personal best of two minutes, 08.85secs as Shanahan finished second in 2:09.88 and Leah Schlosshan third in 2:13.14.
"I was pleasantly surprised," said Wood. "With the girls pushing me all the way, it was a really good race."
Rogers continues impressive form
Paralympic champion Faye Rogers twice improved her own S10 100m butterfly European record as she claimed the multi-classification crown.
Rogers was an Olympic hopeful and competed at the 2021 trials but did not qualify for Tokyo.
Later that year she was injured in a car accident which left her with permanent damage to her right arm.
The University of Aberdeen student is now making a big impact in Para-swimming, winning gold at the 2024 Paris Paralympics, and after swimming 1:04.51 in the heats to smash the 1:05.46 she clocked in Italy early this year, she finished in 1:04.17 in the final to one again lower her record.
"I'm absolutely exhausted but it's been one of the best meets ever and I keep surprising myself," said the 22-year-old.
"I'm not expecting the times I'm swimming but I'm loving racing at the moment and I think it's showing when I'm racing."
Rogers also improved her 200m butterfly world record earlier in the meet and took silver behind Brock Whiston in Saturday's 200m individual medley, with multiple Paralympic and world champion Bethany Firth winning bronze eight months after giving birth to daughter Charlotte.
