Nicole:
I'm Nicole.
Peter:
I'm Peter.
Nicole:
This is Hollie and she's five months.
She has, like, dollies and teddy bear things, musical things that she plays with.
Is that teddy's nose?
And is that teddy's eyes?
Teddy's hands?
Clapping hands.
She's getting far more vocal.
Yeah she's starting to try and say words like bababa!
Teddy gonna get Hollie?
Get her!
Nose to nose!
Can Hollie touch his nose?
Touch his nose! Is he nice and soft?
Or is he nice and fluffy?
Is he nice and fluffy?
The kids definitely love it.
They love when you've got the time to sit down and actually play with them.
Peter:
Aw hugs for teddy.
Nicole:
No matter what we're doing.
We're still here talking to them and interacting with them able to just get up and go and play.
Toys like teddies are great props you can talk to your baby about.
Try talking about the different features of the teddy, the feel of it and what teddy can do - e.g. ‘clap hands’.

TOP TIP: Describe all the things that your baby is doing with their teddy - e.g. 'hugs for teddy'.
