As part of BBC Radio 1’s Dance Weekend, BBC Radio 1 is going back to Malta.

Radio 1 Dance: Malta will take place on Saturday 16th August at UNO, Malta.

Radio 1 will be broadcasting live from this very special event featuring sets from David Guetta, Becky Hill, Charlie Hedges, Jeremiah Asiamah & more to be announced!

Tickets will be available to book from 4:30pm Saturday 12th April via the link below.

Ticket Prices

Tickets are priced at €30 plus a €3 booking fee (per ticket) and there is a maximum of 6 tickets per customer.

The booking fee is retained by Tixify and UNO Malta and contributes to operational costs including card payment processing costs, customer service and account handling costs.

Event Restrictions

You need to be 18 or over to attend this event.

You will be asked for photographic ID at the entrance. Acceptable forms of ID are a valid passport or a valid EU photo card driving license.

Please note there is no readmission to the venue once the event has started.

How to get tickets

Tixify is the official ticketing agent for this event and will handle ticket sales on behalf of the BBC.

Tickets are only confirmed once the payment has been successfully processed and you have received a confirmation email. We will post updates to alert you if tickets sell out via our BBC Radio 1 social accounts.

All tickets for this event will be e-tickets. You will be able to access and download your e-ticket(s) via your Tixify account 5 days before the event.

Accessibility

BBC Radio 1 aims to make its events accessible as possible for customers with accessibility requirements.

Please be aware that Uno Malta has its own pre-existing set of accessible facilities, including: access points for wheelchairs, three accessible toilets and stage viewing areas with limited seating that operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Venue stewards and security will be on hand to help accessible customers to these areas, if needed.

Travel

Taxis services are readily available across the island.

There will be a taxi drop off / pick up point for pre-booked taxis within the venue car park. There is no taxi rank for ad hoc taxis at the venue.

Please DO NOT drive to this event. There is no on-site parking and the streets around the venue are residential and have no available street parking for event ticketholders.

Please do not walk to or from this event, the roads leading to the venue are busy with fast moving traffic.

Food & Drink

A variety of food and drink options will be available to purchase from inside the venue.

No bags / rucksacks larger than A4 allowed.

No glass or metal bottles, alcohol and illegal substances allowed.

No weapons or sharp pointed objects, hazardous / toxic substances, fireworks or laser pens allowed.

No selfie sticks, umbrellas and helmets allowed.

No professional cameras / audio / visual recording equipment / drones allowed.
