What is a music festival? To be featured on this page, we believe it to be either an outdoor event that takes place on more than one stage or an indoor event that encompasses many venues.
Founded in 1977, Leek Arts Festival is a six-week celebration of the local arts scene with up to 40 events.

Since its inception in 2013, Lymelight Festival has seen more than 600 local acts perform in Newcastle-under-Lyme town centre.
Lymelight takes place across the late May Bank holiday weekend, and hosts over 20 local up and coming artists from across Staffordshire, providing a weekend of free live music for people of all ages.

The festival started in 2009 as a way to provide young people with a summer event to fill the long holidays and also to give opportunities to perform at a free music festival.
Held across three stages at Milton Park, more than 5,000 people attend the festival to watch musical performances, as well as enjoy the local food and drink and community stalls.
The festival is completely run by volunteers and is non-profit making, with any money raised given to local charitable causes or returned to organising the next year’s event.

Camp Bestival has announced it will take a break from holding its event at Weston Park in 2025.
Curator Rob da Bank had spoken about a "bedding in process" for the festival, but a notice on its website said it would not go ahead there this summer and encouraged revellers to buy tickets for its sister event in Dorset instead.

August Bank Holiday marks the biggest weekend of the year for electronic music fans, as 70,000 people make their annual pilgrimage to the Cheshire countryside for Creamfields’ four-day annual festival.
Known for consistently pushing the boundaries of electronic music events, Creamfields always raises the benchmark for an unforgettable festival experience.
David Guetta is set to headline on the Sunday, which will be his only UK festival performance in 2025.
