Three brothers have driven across the length of the UK - from Land's End in Cornwall to John O' Groats in the very north of Scotland - in a tiny bus.

The retro bus was originally built to be a children's seaside ride.

Each if the brothers took turns driving the one metre tall, 2.5m long bus, with the others riding in a normal car behind.

It took them a whole week to travel 1,000 miles in the bus to arrive safely at their destination.

James, Andrew and Will Emerton said the vintage bus had been in their family for around 20 years.

It was originally built in the 1940s and was designed to run up and down a promenade on the sea front to give short rides to children in the 1950s and 1960s.

The bus can travel at 20-25mph on straight roads, but they say it averaged around 12mph during the trip.

Throughout their journey they have also been raising money for three charities that help children and have raised almost £30,000.
