Caernarfon Town and Cardiff Met have reached the Cymru Premier play-off semi-finals thanks to wins on Saturday.

Caernarfon's Louis Lloyd struck four times as they upset the form book in their 5-2 victory against Barry Town United in their Conference League play-off.

Eliot Richards put Barry in front early on, but the hosts took the initiative as Lloyd hit back before adding his second from the penalty spot.

Adam Davies stretched the lead and Lloyd added two more before Kayne McLaggon's late consolation.

In the later Cardiff Met v Bala Town game, Ryan Reynolds provided a dramatic Hollywood finale as he scored in added time to send the hosts through with a 1-0 win.

The structure of the play-off semi-finals and final will be decided by the outcome of the JD Welsh Cup final on Sunday 4 May.

If The New Saints win the JD Welsh Cup, league runners-up Penybont will qualify automatically for European competition. If Connah's Quay Nomads win the JD Welsh Cup, Penybont will compete in the play-offs.

Outcomes of the knockout games will determine European football for Welsh teams in the coming months.
